Fourteenth Annual Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize

The Fourteenth Annual Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize aired on PBS stations nationwide on October 31, 2011. The 90-minute special paid tribute to the humor and accomplishments of the popular actor, producer and SNL alum Will Ferrell. The show was edited at Broadway Video by Yossi Kimberg and mixed at Broadway Sound by Ralph Kelsey.

USA Network Summer Series

Engineer Vince Verderame and Editors Anthony Gianni & Anthony Verderame collaborated with USA Network on several projects, including summer series launch campaigns for In Plain Sight, White Collar, Covert Affairs, Royal Pains and Burn Notice and series premiere launches for Suits and Necessary Roughness

Alphas

Engineers Kevin McElligott and Vince Verderame and Editor Rick Barlis worked on the launch of Syfy’s newest original series “Alphas” which premiered on July 11th.  The show was Syfy’s most-watched series debut in two years, pulling in 2.5 million viewers.

Bellator

Bellator Fighting Championships is a Mixed Martial Arts promotional company headquartered in Chicago. Bellator set up camp at Broadway Video once again for it’s fourth season, which began on March 5, 2011 and airs LIVE on MTV2.

NBCUniversal/Comcast Day One event

Editor Dave Finamore & producers Skip Stuart and Jonathan Small created 3 packages for the event: the opening sizzle reel, the history of Comcast and the closing tape.

Autism Speaks: Light It Up Blue 2011

Editor Christine McLean worked with producer Bill Shea on the campaign which raised awareness for the fourth annual World Autism Awareness Day on April 2.  Schools, organizations, and companies around the world hosted events to raise awareness.

Glamour’s 2010 Women of the Year Awards

Editor Yossi Kimberg worked with producer Mike Bosze to create a package honoring Cher with the Lifetime Achievement Award for this special event.

PBS – New Years Celebration 2011 from Vienna

To ring in the New Year, editor Scott Cumbo worked with WNET to produce “From Vienna: The New Year’s Celebration 2011,” an annual telecast featuring the Vienna Philharmonic

MSG

Scott Cumbo edited a 3D hockey highlight reel for the network, which has since been nominated for an Emmy.

Syfy Upfront

For their most successful upfronts yet, editors Anthony Gianni, Rick Barlis & Dan Fisher along with engineers Kevin McElligott, Mike Garatty & Vince Verderame compiled reels for the much hyped event on March 22nd at the Foxwoods Theatre, home to Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark.

Secret Access: The Vatican for The History Channel

Broadway Video’s Christine McLean and Broadway Sound’s Sean Canada worked with Stephen David Entertainment for Secret Access: The Vatican. This History Channel special takes an in-depth look at the The Vatican, exploring its secret archives, Swiss Guard and the financial system. Additionally, the special includes some behind-the-scene views of the Pope in his private residence.

TV Land Awards

The Ninth Annual TV Land Awards, edited at Broadway Video by Yossi Kimberg, Christine McLean & Dan Fisher with edit assists Patricia Conte & Nick Pacchiano, aired April 17, 2011. Broadway Sound’s Kevin O’Leary mixed the awards and worked with Stevie Wonder and Paul Reiser, who helped by lending their voices to the show. The 90-minute telecast featured musical performances and honored some of the most iconic celebrity TV casts of all time.

Celebrity Apprentice

Mark Burnett Productions & Reilly Worldwide chose Broadway Video Editorial to host several of its challenges on the 2011 season of Celebrity Apprentice which aired on NBC.  BV’s editors worked with the celebrities to create spots for several different organizations.

PBS Mark Twain Prize

The 2010 Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor was awarded to Saturday Night Live alum and 30 Rock star Tina Fey.  In conjunction with CoMedia, Inc., Yossi Kimberg edited and Ralph Kelsey mixed this prestigious event.

SNL: Netflix

Editors Yossi Kimberg, Christine McLean & Anthony Verderame undertook the process of re-editing and streaming the first 35 seasons of Saturday Night Live to Netflix Instant Stream.
